Valentine's Day Surprises from eCRUSH.com, Teen Central: Teens Rate Most Kissable Celebs, Paris Hilton and Napoleon Dynamite Are Oddest Couple

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 12, 2007 -- Who are the most kissable, date-worthy celebrities this V-Day, according to teen girls and guys? eCRUSH (www.ecrush.com) polled more than one thousand young trendsetters to find out their fantasy valentines.

The results:

28% said Jessica Alba is the most crush-worthy female celebrity this Valentine's Day. Jessica beat out Beyoncé (24%), Lindsay Lohan (16%), Keira Knightley (14%) and Scarlett Johansson (8%).

23% said Zac Efron from High School Musical is the most crush-worthy male celeb, beating out cutie standby's Chad Michael Murray (21%), Brad Pitt (18%), Justin Timberlake (16%) and Nick Lachey (9%).

When we asked for a "fantasy hook-up" out of 63 celebrity combinations, teens proved they've been watching too much "Beauty and the Geek." The number one fantasy couple? Paris Hilton and Napoleon Dynamite. Second runner up was Ashley Tisdale and Adam Brody, and in third place, Carrie Underwood and Johnny Depp.

38% say that Tyra Banks is the daytime talk show host most deserving of a big box of chocolates this Valentine's Day. Oprah (25%), Rachael Ray (16%) and Dr. Phil (11%) were distant runners-up.

Good news, Tobey Maguire - 37% of teens said Spiderman would get the most carnations if superheroes went to their high school. (And we thought for sure that Hiro from "Heroes" - getting a mere 10% of the vote - would be the winner.)

And the celeb least likely to get a valentine? 37% of teens give the honor to George Bush. Would-be burger flipper Kevin Federline came in second with 23%.

The eCRUSH Network, acquired by Hearst Magazines Digital Media in January 2007, is a group of PG-13 sites related to universal truths of crushing, flirting, and all forms of teen connectivity.

eCRUSH® is the original "crush" site -- a way for users to find out anonymously if someone they like feels the same about them, with no chance of rejection. The site launched on Valentine's Day 1999, and has matched close to 1MM users.

eSPIN® is a profile-based site that offers the old junior-high game with a modern twist. Designed with safety in mind (all youth submissions are screened to remove any personally identifiable information and inappropriate content before they can be posted), this is the premier way for gen-Y to connect, flirt and make new friends online. Launched in 2001, eSPIN-the-BottleT has over 2,500,000 users and is growing rapidly.

HighSchoolStyleBoard is a photo-rating site with a few new twists. Users can post photos in numerous categories, such as "Best Hair" and "Preppiest." Multiple votes per page and an extensive "Top 500" list in each category keeps users returning to this site.

Surveys4Teens is an email based resource for teens who are interested in age-appropriate research. Surveys4Teens has a unique audience of over 250,000 teens.
