Partygoers to Celebrate Paris Hilton’s Jail Sentence at Beverly Hilton Hotel
Beverly Hills, CA (PRWEB) May 31, 2007 -- A nationwide Christian organization that often slams pop culture icons for their behavior is throwing a party to celebrate Paris Hilton’s 45-day jail sentence. The Resistance, founded by author and radio host Mark Dice, is organizing a party in the Beverly Hilton hotel to celebrate what they are calling a great day in American pop culture.
"I hope this will be a time of self reflection for her," says Mark Dice. "She'll have plenty of time on her hands to think about what her purpose in life is, and I hope she will be released a new person. This is one of the greatest opportunities of her life for her to see what kinds of changes she needs to make."
The Resistance celebration will be held in the bar on the ground floor of the Beverly Hilton hotel starting at 8:00 pm Tuesday June 5th. They are also urging partygoers to bring Paris Hilton merchandise which will be smashed and thrown in the trash.
“Paris going to jail sends the correct message to the youth of America. When someone messes up, they have to pay for their mistakes whether they are a world-famous celebrity, or an ordinary person.”
The Resistance has recently been in the news for slamming rapper 50 Cent for wearing a crucifix while rapping about murdering people, and has also made news around the world for calling Jessica Simpson a singing stripper after the release of her recent music video.
